Was a great place to pick up all the essentials to take back to Pennsylvania you can never get a good bagel outside of New York or a hard roll so we loaded up on these guys and it was an amazing experience. The whole place is authentic, as well as the employees were attentive. They could smile a little bit more but hey in this day and age if they talk to you anymore at a young age, just be thankful.
We went there specifically for bread. Some of the best bread I have ever tasted. They also have an awesome selection of baked goods

As with most independent community businesses you get quality service and great food, this place is an excellent example. If you are a local or just passing by downtown middletown, take a shot at this bakery’s offering you will not be disappointed it’s one of the towns hidden gem.
This place has been around longer than I have been alive. I have been coming for 25 years as long as I have been with my wife. There almost is too much variety, but nothing suffers because of it. Great place to go if you want to impress someone. The rugula is perfectly flaky and sugary it is just an amazing bite. The almond horns are for real not that artificial almond taste.
